I'm no Latin scholar, but I am a lapsed Catholic.

I suggest that "Mea Culpa" - though my fault - is the incorrect sentiment to replace "E pluribus unum" on the currency.

Perhaps "Non Mea Culpa" or "Mea Non Culpa" - NOT MY FAULT - would be more accurate.
