Barking Moonbat Update
Remember Linda Quiquivix? She's the barking moonbat who jilted her progressive Jewish boyfriend because he refused to be "enlightened" by her regarding the evil that is the modern state of Israel.

Well, you may be interested to know that she just got arrested for assaulting a government official with a deadly weapon.

She was released on $3,000 bond.

Can you imagine dating this woman?

Splash, out

Time for another installment of the CounterColumn news ticker, news ticker!

Oh, Geez...If I really wrote out the news ticker headlines that are in my head right now, I'd have a torch and pitchfork mob coming to lynch me by sunrise!!!

Like, you've ever feared something like that? WE WANT TICKERS - WE WANT TICKERs !

It appears she attempted to run a cop over with her car. Go to JAMES TARANTO's Best of the Web, then search for "Q-Tips", which links to a NC government judical page, and quotes an NC lawyer who deciphered the legalese:

She is charged with the Class F felony of assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer and the Class H felony of hit-and-run involving personal injury. There is also a misdemeanor charge of resisting a public officer.

If she has no prior criminal record of any kind she would likely receive a sentence of 16 to 20 months on the assault and six to eight months on the hit-and-run. Again, assuming no prior record she would probably get intensive probation or house arrest. It sounds like she [allegedly] ran over a cop with her vehicle.

Her first court date is Oct. 12, 2007.

We want tickers. Besides, you can ambush the pitchforks and torches crowd... ;-)

Did you say something? I must have missed it while I was out emplacing the claymores and running tripwires.

And can anyone remember the recipe for fougasse?
