Obama the Undecided
The New York Times reports:
The truth, however, is that Obama is undecided about the major troop buildup he himself proposed during the campaign.
Obama hasn't articulated a contrary position since that time. McChrystal came out in support of the only guidance Obama has publicly given so far. Truth be told, it was Biden, not McChrystal, who 'put his cock on the anvil' arguing a position contrary to the President. It was Biden, not McChrystal, who was "off the reservation," with his proposal.
Biden should keep his council private and use the chain of command. If Biden really has a problem with the Commander-in-chief, he should resign now, and then he can go as public as he likes.
Democrats, of course, philosophically hold the same position -- and blame McChrystal.

President Obama told Congressional leaders on Tuesday that he would not substantially reduce American forces in Afghanistan or shift the mission to just hunting terrorists there, but he indicated that he remained undecided about the major troop buildup proposed by his commanding general.
The truth, however, is that Obama is undecided about the major troop buildup he himself proposed during the campaign.
Democrat Barack Obama said Monday that as president he would send at least two more combat brigades to Afghanistan, where U.S. soldiers face rising violence and endured their deadliest attack in three years on Sunday.
The proposed force increase - about 7,000 troops - is part of Obama's plan to pull combat troops out of Iraq and focus on the growing threat from a resurgent al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
"As president, I would pursue a new strategy, and begin by providing at least two additional combat brigades to support our effort in Afghanistan," Obama said in an op-ed published Monday in The New York Times, a day before he plans a speech here on his vision for Iraq and Afghanistan.
"We need more troops, more helicopters, better intelligence-gathering and more nonmilitary assistance to accomplish the mission there," Obama said.

Remember when the libtards and media were soiling themselves ...
...over Cheney's secret energy task force meetings?
That was then, this is now.

UPDATE: To add to the irony, Biden once referred to Cheney as "the most dangerous vice president we've had probably in American history?"

Biden's Daughter Using Cocaine on Camera?
Family values, Democrat style. Personally, I don't care. And Biden's family has been through enough tragedy without me having to milk it for more.
But if any libtards want to argue that she ought to be off limits, they can shove it.

For Biden, No portfolio but the role of a trusted counselor.
That's how the Obamanauts are framing the decision to make Biden the "shitty-little-jobs-officer" of the administration - except that they don't even want to give him "shitty-little-jobs."
Shoot...maybe Axelrod should have gotten the VP slot. It's obvious that Obama has more confidence in his abilities. Then again, that probably speaks well of the Anointed One's judgment.

So far, Mr. Biden has not been given a defined portfolio, the way Al Gore was given the environment and technology in 1992. And Mr. Obama’s aides say they do not expect Mr. Biden to assume the kind of muscular role that Vice President Dick Cheney has played over the last eight years, although he is expected to put out a number of fires.
“I’m sure that there will be discrete assignments over time,” said David Axelrod, a senior adviser to the president-elect. “But I think his fundamental role is as a trusted counselor. I think that when Obama selected him, he selected him to be a counselor and an adviser on a broad range of issues.”

Biden on the McCain Computer Ad

Democrats don't care about poor people!
John McCain gave over 27% of his income to charity in 06-07.
Obama gave 5.8% and 6.1% in those two years.
Hmmm. 27 to 6. Sounds like Koufax's Win/Loss record in his hall of fame prime!
McCain might not be able to type well. But he knows how to write a check!
As for Biden: He gave three tenths of one percent.
Wow. I don't think Palin's released her figures yet, but all she has to do is tithe, and she will be body-slamming Obama...while raising four children, on less money!
Biden isn't going to want to show his face. "Stand up, Chuck!" ROFL!

ADDED: Plus, I'd weight what a conservative gives to charity a lot more than what a libtard gives. If a conservative does charitable giving, it will go to feed the hungry, teach people to read, it will go to the Scouts, to Little League, the Red Cross, or other worthy causes.
When a libtard gives to a charity, it's more likely going to PETA or some damned tree-hugging outfit dedicated to saving dolphins from becoming sushi.
