Ice Cream Trucks
Comments:
God forbid that parents actually take some responsibility and tell their kids "no", and make it stick. Too bad too many families (such as some of those quoted in the article) have no adult supervision.
Wankers.
Wankers.
Have often thought I would just love to take some of these parents aside and smack them up side the head!! HARD!!
There are 2 vendors of Italian ices and 1 Mr Softee at my local playground all day long. Not a single complaint. But then I don't live in Boomer and Yuppie territory. The parents are pretty good about limiting their kids and the kids are pretty good about not acting like spoiled brats unlike that kid in Park Slope. That seems to be one of the new headquarters for the Yuppies and Boomers moving on from other neighborhoods. Good reason to stay far away from there.

No wonder these people need to have government tell them what to do and how to do it. No one ever told them how to say no to their children. They simply can't deal with anything that upsets the flow of self-indulgence.
Oh, the humanity.
