A Lieberman choice would be disastrous
Rove knows that, and is trying to save McCain from himself.

I have a ton of regard for Lieberman. But if McCain picks a Democrat, who does he plan to raise money from?

Remember...when push comes to shove, the man caucuses for Harry Reid.

He's a brand destroyer.

Splash, out

Comments:
Palin, on the other hand, is inspired.

My wife has been talking my ear off about Rice being the obvious choice, but that was always a non-starter.

Palin is not only inspired, she's capable, and in comparison with the mute GWB is a regular Daniel Webster at articulating principles and goals.

She has more executive experience than any of the other three candidates, and has spent more time in Iraq than Obama. No one will illustrate better than she how drilling in ANWAR is not the vast desecration heretofore blared into our ears by the MSM, and no one will defend domestic petroleum production better than she will.

I shall relish her questioning Joe Biden on his votes against the original Alaska Pipeline, and against the original Desert Storm, and why his lobbyist son is under investigation for corruption in Washington while hers is in uniform in Iraq.
