USMC Unit Expelled from Afghanistan

Blood does indeed make the grass grow.
It isn't always an ideal fertilizer if you are trying to cultivate international relations, however.
I will also note that the language in that statement is not that the unit was in the wrong. It was that perceptions were that the unit was in the wrong so it had to go. Maybe the unit did something wrong, maybe it didn't. I'm not going to throw stones just yet based on the media coverage.
