He's a pretty big guy, from the look of it. And he's pretty brave when he's talking to a bunch of bereaved mothers.

As disgusting as Fred Phelps is, he actually believes the crap he spews. Judging from the shit-eating grin, this guy was doing this just to cause a reaction. He was just looking to goad people. I'm not sure which is worse.
