Army misses recruiting goal by 42 percent!
Not good.
What's more, the zoomies and squids aren't transferring to the Army in the numbers we hoped they would.
What's the solution? Dunno. I'm still getting interest where I sit. And I'm still seeing fresh faces coming in the door.
The Army never was much on its own PR though.

Saw your article and posted my take here (you need to get a trackback feature as it would make it easier to reference your blog).
I think that it will take another war before people start desiring to fight again. Although we are fighting terrorists, they are not a geographic area where our main forces can attack. Perhaps converting airmen into armymen may perhaps be the best thing for now.
