An Air Force Base with no Planes
Garfield Ridge notes a funny omission by the LA Times.
I'd like to know if Los Angeles Air Force Base has a golf course, though! (Actually, they probably use Los Alamitos's)

Dad's a former AF civil engineer, and his story is that the golf courses are there mostly to separate the loud jets from the personnel areas.
