Bury the Lede
So, it seems that there's been a secular trend over the last two or three decades of European Jews gradually parting company with European leftism - largely because of the left's embracing of the Palestinian cause - and supporting the moderates and right wing.
Seems reasonable enough to me.
So, if you're a New York Times reporter, what do you put in the top paragraph? What do you see as the most important part of the story?
Why, Jews are supporting Nazis, of course!
(nevermind that 95% of them don't.)
