I missed this before... 
I was pretty busy when it came out in July of 2003. But if this is the ethical climate at Reuters, it's pretty damned scary.

Jason, I think most of us by now know not to believe what the news services report. The bias to report everything negative or to change positives into negatives is recognized by many of us. That is why the bloggers have had the opportunity in many cases to set the record straight. I believe the milblogs and those from actual Iraqis more quickly than the MSM. Keep writing as you see it. Think of PM Allawi's address to congress being immediately followed by Kerry saying it really wasn't the true picture of Iraq. Kerry hasn't been there but says he knows more than Allawi.
Hey, excellent website. A great Iraq resource is Deaths in Iraq. It breaks all of the casualties down by age, race, branch of the military, country, etc.
