Journalistic Bias: How Bad Is It?
The results of an informal poll of journalists conducted by the New York Times:

When asked who would be a better president, the journalists from outside the Beltway picked Mr. Kerry 3 to 1, and the ones from Washington favored him 12 to 1.

The argument that political journalists aren't ideologically biased, but instead are just eager to get new and interesting people to write about and support Kerry for that reason--an idiotic notion from the beginning--is pretty thoroughly laid to rest by the Times poll, as well.

What's amazing to me is that the fundamental anti-conservative bias of our media professionals is still even a matter of debate.

Once again, and as usual, Eric Alterman, author of "What Liberal Media?" is AWOL on the issue.
