Invoking Godwin's Law in the Media Coverage Debate
Check out Pejman Yousefzadeh's column, The Press and the War in Iraq" in today's Tech Central Station.
It's a critique of Matthew Yglesias's assertion that current media criticism is nothing more than an attempt to set up the "Stab in the Back" argument scapegoating the press for failure in Iraq, rather than the President--a law the Weimar Republic in the aftermath of WWII.
I could write a similar column, too. But it's much easier and more efficient for me to invoke Godwin's Law, declare victory, and move on.
