"We like football and po!rno and poems about war!"
Winningwriters.com is holding a war poetry contest. $1,500 in prizes. Details are here. I don't have permission from the author to repost, but you can read last year's winner here.
I've been assured this isn't a closet vanity press (which is always the danger with these contests).
Fair warning: Nominal entry fee required. If you're new to poetry contests, these are not unusual in the poetry contest world. In fact, the absence of them a lot of times means you're going to get hit up to buy a trashy compilation of all the entries.
Fair warning II: These people who run these contests are weird! When you say "Dylan," they think you're talking about Dylan Thomas! They ain't got no culture.
