Katrina and the Telecom Infrastructure
Employees at technology consulting firm Gartner are blogging the communications infrastructure and technology recovery issues, at www.gartner.com.

Worth keeping up with.

Comments:
I'm in Baton Rouge and this has been a telcom nightmare. I'm way over trunked at the hospital and it's still crushing me.

Shortly after the storm nothing worked. The PSTN, cell phones, pagers were all down. Slowly things came back up but we are still having routing problems due to Bellsouth's loss of some CO's in N.O.

We also have another 100,000 people here with cell phones. The whole network is straining.

If you would just take your time to know your way around, you could discover a lot of premium products and services being offered for free.

Come and check it out if you get the time 8-)

Hi,
Your blog is well written and informative. I have a site on internet phone maybe we could trade links?

I have been following a site now for almost 2 years and I have found it to be both reliable and profitable. They post daily and their stock trades have been beating
the indexes easily.

Take a look at Wallstreetwinnersonline.com
